An advantage of the RPGBot II system is that you will be able to modify parts of it or add your own routines to it.
A
player database that you can customize with any number of
additional game "stats". Default stats include those necessary to track player
health, nutrition, combat skills, inventory, magic skills and much more.
Extensive list of chat commands, that can be added to by the
customer.
Object tags. Objects in the world can have "tags" added to their
action field that will cause various actions to take place when the object is
clicked on (see link for list of tags).
Fishing. (Public domain fish models included for your convenience,
or you can use your own.)
Inventory system. Players can drop and pick up items or give them
to other players. Players can view their inventory list in full or filtered to
show only items that match a particular string or category. Objects are listed
in a database and can have "effects" assigned to them that are activated via a
/use object command. New items can easily be added to the game. A
special command for administrators allows them to "make" and add items to their
inventory via chat. Players can "craft" items from other items, if they have the
requisite skills; crafting system is entirely customized. Some basic object
effects are included, and new effects can be programmed in by the customer.
Health Points and a system of food and nutrition. A database of
food items allows nutritional value to be defined for each food item, and
effects (similar to the object effects mentioned above) can be defined that
occur when a player eats or drinks an item. Included is the ability for players
to click designated objects to change an empty vessel in their inventory to one
filled with a beverage, that they can then /drink. Health points (which may be
lost in combat or when the user clicks or bumps an object tagged by the world
builders) are automatically restored over time. Nutrition is slowly consumed
over time, and is required for the player to regain Health Points. A player who
dies is transported to an "underworld" location from which they can return to
life.
